Why Go for Funny Ads?

Going for funny ads is very complex and requires a lot of effort. You have to be sure that the whole fun stuff acceptable for the products and at the same time it should also be related to the intended buyers. Take note that when going for these funny ads, you must remember that humor must come very naturally.

The number one significant intention of an ad is to make the message heard. Your ad can be playful but it must never alter the message that it wanted to bring. If viewers only laugh at the ad and will not notice the real message so what is the use of doing such actions?

Another important thing is that you should make an ad that is funny so it will certainly get the viewer’s attention. If you often watch TV, you will take note that many funny ads are for the products that are not expensive and demand depth less thought before buying them. Some of these products are food and toys.

Having people laugh is difficult, because wit is should always come out naturally, is not something by using a lot of effort. A humor that is imposed on can be likely sensed by a viewer, making the ad look low in quality. In general funny ads are seen to be the most effective technique in getting your targeted customers attention. That is why a lot of marketing companies go for funny ads in both print or broadcast.

There’s something good when you watch TV commercials online. You get a grasp of different brilliant concepts of great minds in the advertising industry worldwide. TV commercials online are usually simple. Most concepts tackle the simple facets of life. But its simplicity seems to attract the viewers that it could even create action (now that’s what makes commercials effective).

Some nice taglines:

“Isn’t every problem a playground?”

This line came from Honda commercial entitled Problem Playground. It starts with a ‘scientist-like’ guy who’s solving a Rubik’s cube when more similar personalities came in the room and started solving their own Rubik’s cube. They piled the cubes and formed it to something that illustrates hybrid. They went to different rooms and solved various problems. Their final problem: the Honda FCX. Rumor has it that this car is pumped up with H20. Cool! The commercial was effective in illustrating that indeed, being environmentally friendly does not hinder Honda from coming up with great innovations.

“Progress is beautiful.” The concept of technological progress has been antagonized by many. The Audi A4 commercial goes to prove that progress can be beautiful; it actually is.
